MiiC is the first International Exhibition of Contemporary Illustration of Galicia. A collective exhibition of more than a hundred pieces that aims to show the latest trends within the area of creative illustration worldwide.

In its first edition, held at the Auditorium of Galicia in Santiago de Compostela, the exhibition focused on artists born since 1950, with pieces by world-renowned illustrators such as Gary Baseman, Arnal Ballester or Martin Jarrie; and younger artists who are emerging within the panorama of the current illustration (Alberto Vázquez, Sergio Mora, Marina Capdevilla, Cinta Arribas, etc.).  21 individual and collective projects were exhibited, which included a total of 130 artists. The format of the selected artworks also sought to show the new creation techniques used, such as silk-screen printing, digital illustration or animation; as well as the new intervention supports: resin figures, fabrics, pottery, etc.

MiiC is an event to be enjoyed by professionals of the sector and the general public. An exhibition that seeks to expand its field of action through the activities that complement it: lectures, courses, performances, screenings, etc.

The second edition will take place at the headquarters of the Abanca Foundation, an emblematic building in the historic center of the city.
